This Weekend at The Homeplace 1850's Working Farm, The weather is finally turning warmer and the ladies can now gather together more frequently to put together quilts. The Quilting Bee, like a barn raising, was the opportunity to lighten the load of their labor while also connecting with their community. Not only would work get done and tasty treats be had, but the gossip was sure to fly!
