At 2:30 PM Sunday, May 12, 2024, Todd Hill and his Orchestra will present their fifth annual Mother’s Day Concert at Murray First United Methodist Church. The big band is in its 41st year and will feature Kayla Marie Little on vocals, Derek Jones on clarinet and alto saxophone, John Madole on drums along with sixteen more professional musicians from throughout the region (and beyond).

The concert is free, and will be performed to raise funds through a love offering for the church’s Choral Scholars Program, which assists Murray State music students with their studies in exchange for serving in the Chancel Choir at FUMC, while learning to serve as church leaders themselves.

Todd says, “It doesn’t matter how many of the concerts you’ve attending before, this show will pack a lot of new material for you that you haven’t seen or heard before, including a centenary salute to the Roaring 20s, a World War II Tribute, and many more surprises.”
