HAZEL  ANTIQUE  DISTRICT
Just down the road from Murray is Hazel, a turn-of-the-century community that has been transformed from a railroad town into an antique shopper’s haven.  The old storefronts are now antique shops or malls featuring some of the best selections in the country.  Featured in numerous publications, such as Southern Living, Hazel entertains browsers from far and wide and is now known as western Kentucky’s oldest and largest antique shopping district. 

DOWNTOWN  SATURDAY MARKET
The Murray Main Street organization brings downtown to life early Saturday mornings. From May to October, farmers, artisans and craftsmen line court square with their finest. Locals and visitors arrive early to get the best pick of fresh produce, baked goods, crafts and art.

Each month features additional events, such as antique tractor and car shows, the Iris and Flower show and the Murray Art Guild’s Arts on the Square.

The streets of Murray overflow with bargain hunters at the spring and fall City-Wide Yard Sale.  With over 80 individual yard sale participants, many shoppers are willing to travel great distances to shop at the largest city-wide yard sale in western Kentucky. Maps outlining the variety of items for sale and the site locations help shoppers navigate the sale.
