Parade:
The Freedom Fest Board invites all civic groups and organizations to participate in the 2008 Freedom Fest Parade.

The parade will take place July 5th at 9:30 a.m. Awards will be given to parade participants for Most Patriotic, Most Original and Best of Show.

There is no entry fee for the parade, but an application must be completed. The deadline for entry is Jun 15. Click on the link below to download an application.

Flying Flags of Murray:
Patriotism will soar as Kopperud Realty’s Flying Flags of Murray kicks off its community decorating competition. The community is invited to participate in the outdoor home and business decorating contest to paint the town red, white and blue. Participants can use flags, plants, flowers, signs, lights and just about anything else they can imagine to inspire the Fourth of July spirit. Anything goes.

The top three winners will be announced at the Freedom Fest Street Fair on Saturday and will be awarded prizes!
